Choosing an international mover in Dubai comes down to a few checks you can make before you sign anything. These five cover most of the risk.

Five checks before you hire

A valid trade licence

Ask for the company’s UAE trade licence and its VAT registration number (TRN), and check that the name on the quote matches the licence. Be wary of a mover whose licence is “being renewed”.

Reviews you can verify

Read recent reviews on independent platforms such as Google, and ask friends or colleagues who have moved abroad from the UAE which company they used.

A real office

Visit the office or meet the team before you sign. A company with a physical address and a named coordinator is accountable in a way a phone number is not.

Insurance cover

Ask what transit insurance is available, what it covers and how claims work. Arrange cover before packing day, not after.

A mover who asks questions

A reliable quote starts with a survey — at your home or by video — and questions about access, fragile items and dates. A price given without one is an estimate.

How to compare quotes

  • Compare the written scope, not the headline price
  • Check what is excluded — destination charges, storage, insurance
  • Confirm who handles customs at both ends
  • Ask who your single point of contact will be

Two quotes that differ by a wide margin usually differ because one of them leaves something out.

Rather not pack it yourself? Our crews will.

We manage the export packing, the freight, the customs formalities at both ends and the delivery into your new home — one price, one point of contact.
